Huge Day at Lonsert Luthiery

This pile of wood was just begging to be a guitar!
If you look close, you can see the shape of things to come.
This is the top cap...  Bird's eye maple...Love the figure
It is still in the rough......no sanding yet. But you can still see the amazing figure
in this wood....  Thinking it is going to be a transparent black Model SCGS1 with
       a carved top.

This was a red letter day for Lonsert guitars.  I am launching two new body styles.  The first is a single cutaway carved top.  The second is a "Tele" style guitar.  I machined the templates for both of them today.  I also got the top cap, back, and neck blank glued up for the first SCGS1...  This is going to be a truly beautiful instrument.  The back and neck are Mahogony, and I am leaning towards a bird's eye maple fretboard.  There is alot of sawdust on the floor after today, and much more to come soon.
Wishing everyone good days and great tunes,
Ben
