Hello there all you guitar nuts!
We have been very busy with repairs here at Lonsert Luthiery... I have a few pics of the T style to share with you. This is before level sanding and buffing out the finish. Just wanted to give you a preview of the color work.. Turned out beautiful! Next step is fretting and assembly of the wiring harness. I am going with a super hot pair of humbuckers and a strat style bridge for that throwback look and tone. Then she is up for sale!!!

The word of the day is FIRE
The new set of router bits are making for some really clean results...LOVE IT
This is my first attempt at a Fender style neck. The results are awsome(not bragging, just stating facts)
Ready for sanding and then on to finishing(This one is going to be transparent purple and black)
Every instrument at Lonsert guitars goes through our quality control department after every major step. This is a picture of our quality control manager, Marley Mae

a few of my favorite things
Here are some pics of my daughter playing with the Tele style guitar I am building... Not done yet, but she thinks that it rocks(and rock it will). I am installing two humbuckers in this beast, and a strat style hard tail bridge. Not your average Tele! more pics coming soon. This weekend I will be doing a partial refret on a customer's acoustic(as soon as the fret wire gets here) and installing the truss rod in the neck. I should also be able to fret the fingerboard and carve the neck on the tele style and carve the body of the SCGS....If I am super industrious then I will get to the neck of this one as well....Sounds like a long weekend of LOTS of sawdust and tons of fun!

Just thought I would put up pics of some of the finished instruments I have built... More construction this
weekend!!!! Going to carve the top of the SCGS1 and make a bunch of body and neck blanks for the upcoming tele style and strat style guitars.
Wishing you good days and great tunes,
Ben

Huge Day at Lonsert Luthiery
This pile of wood was just begging to be a guitar!
If you look close, you can see the shape of things to come.
in this wood.... Thinking it is going to be a transparent black Model SCGS1 with
a carved top.
This was a red letter day for Lonsert guitars. I am launching two new body styles. The first is a single cutaway carved top. The second is a "Tele" style guitar. I machined the templates for both of them today. I also got the top cap, back, and neck blank glued up for the first SCGS1... This is going to be a truly beautiful instrument. The back and neck are Mahogony, and I am leaning towards a bird's eye maple fretboard. There is alot of sawdust on the floor after today, and much more to come soon.
Wishing everyone good days and great tunes,
Ben
